Story: Director Ravi Bharathi designed the film as village based crime story. As the title indicates, the movie starts on Saturday at 5p.m and ends on the following Saturday on the same time at 5p.m. The film starts off with the heroine Maha (Malini) who faces pressure from her family regarding her marriage as she in not interested in that. Then she decides to escapes with her boy friend Sakthi (Sarath), for a register marriage and starts her journey from Kodaikanal to Batlagundu. Maha goes missing suddenly during her journey and her uncle Aathi a cop begins to investigate this case. Sakthi who is worried about this starts to chase the mystery on her missing with his friends. The film from here will be filled with surprising twists and turns along with emotional aspects.
